ESR08: Usama Ashraf

We’re happy to greet Usama Ashraf welcome to the RIBES European Training Network. This week, he has joined the RIBES European Training Network as one of our early stage researchers (ESR).

Usama Ashraf will be hosted by Politecnico di Torino, Italy and his work will involve studying swimming performance of small-sized migratory fish species. He will be supervised by Costantino Manes, Claudio Comoglio, Paolo Vezza, and Daniel Nyqvist.

Usama has a master’s degree in Hydroinformatics and Water Management from the EuroAquae+ project, meaning that he graduated from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Newcastle University, and Warsaw University of Technology in a joint master program. He earned his bachelors degree in Civil Engineering at the National University of Science and Technology in Islamabad, Pakistan.
