Beth Scott

Professor of Biology at University of Aberdeen. Her main expertise is in multi-disciplinary research involving fisheries sciences, aquatic ecology, and hydrodynamics. Her particular interests relate to general rules in bio-physical aquatic processes that lead to the creation of hotspots of predator-prey activity as well as to biological and physical variables that control energy flux across trophic levels in aquatic food webs. Leader of multiple interdisciplinary projects on anthropogenic effects on fish communities.
